Teaching Methodology

The I-Maths program is built around taking the child through different learning experiences using different approaches to learning. The unique teaching System employed by I-Maths comprises of three different methodologies, which aim at addressing all types of learners and completing the learning cycle.

iMaths Teaching

Activity based Learning

Concepts are presented in the form of activities or stories, using the many manipulatives that are part of the learning kit, which help anchor the concept in the child's intellect.

Learning by doing

The concepts which were presented in the three dimensional form are presented in the two dimensional form by way of wall charts and magnetic stickers.

Learning by thinking

The final phase of learning, is when the child works on the concepts in specially designed work books thereby completing the learning cycle of "Learning by Doing" to "Learning by Thinking".

Trilateral Method

The conventional approach uses the linear form of teaching.

Example: 1 + 1= ?
The reversible method adds a higher degree of challenge by taking the child from question to answer and from answer back to the question.

Example: 1 + ?= 2
The I-Maths method affords the highest degree of challenge in the form of thought provoking learning modules.

Example: ? + ?= 2
